If analog and digital are different, which one is better? Like two different people, one is not better than the other in general, but in specific attributes and skills one may be better than the other. Lets look at what each has to offer. Analog objects having infinite states gives it a lot of good attributes like being able to get extremely specific with its states allowing it to be very accurate. The same goes with the level of detail something may have. The problem with infinite states and having the ability to be very specific and detailed, it makes it hard to copy. This leads us into digital attributes. Although digital things may not be as detailed be able to be tuned to perfection, the ability to copy something to perfection every time is great with digital items. Not only that, digital objects tend to be more accessible and easier to manipulate and use. Let’s apply this to something like writing. When I write something in pen, I have the great detail of every single curve and swoosh soaking into the page and having its very own unique style. When trying to copy that writing onto a different piece of paper, I may make a mistake which changes the look of my writing slightly, and the process will take a while. If I had that same text on a computer, I won’t have the intricate detail of every letter and mark having its own beauty. However, when I need to get that text again, I can instantly copy that text and place it on a different piece of paper with it looking exactly like the original.
